May 23 Email - 

Hola que pasa calabaza.  This will be a quick one but transfers are tomorrow and I'm leaving to a new area here in Corpus!  My new Companion will be Elder McBeth, an absolute champion of a man.  We ended the transfer with some awesome miracles.  We witnessed 3 amazing children of God enter the waters of Baptism.  Super grateful for the lord and the blessings we've seen from him.  The work is amazing and God leads it.  I hope everyone has a great week!  I love yall.  

June 13 email - 

Hey everyone! It's been amazing here in Corpus Christi. The lord has blessed us greatly!  Our friend Marcella chose to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized! She is a miracle person! 

She discovered the church while on a path seeking truth and direction in her life. She heard about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and felt a very powerful impressionthat she needed to be a part of it. She followed the prompting of the Holy Ghost and got hold of a copy of the Book of Mormon and got in contact with us. After our first visit with her a month ago, she accepted the invitation to be baptized and was baptized this past Saturday. She has received a witness of the truth and divinity if the Book of Mormon, the prophet Joseph Smith and the lord Jesus Christ!  She is now preparing to go to the temple next month and is joyfully sharing her testimony to all she can.  

 "Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever."  (Alma 26:16)

This is the lords great work. He is at the head of it. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and for wearing his name everyday. Know that you don't need to wear a name tag to wear his name and be a missionary.  At baptism we covenant to "take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ."  Part of that means to stand as his witnesses at all times, in all things and in all places. :)

  Feb 7th email -  Hello everyone!  Thought it'd be good to update you all again  We had transfers on Monday.  After 6 months together, one of my companions Elder Iverson has left the area. I'm gonna miss him! It was an amazing ride and I'll be grateful for his influence always.  I am still with Elder Havea and am on my 16th and final transfer.  Our friend Edgar was baptized a couple weeks ago!  We have been so blessed to see such great success in this area.  I love this area and the people so much.  I hope everyone back home is doing great!  I would love to hear from anyone!  Love you all

Keep scrolling...  Feb 22 email -  Hola todos!  Como están?  Tuve una semana tan loca con el frio en Texas!  Pero ahorita estoy muy bien echándole ganas jajaja.  Anyways if you don't know what's been going on, this past week about 1/3 of Texas lost water and power due to the weather I believe, I'm still not too sure what caused everything but man it was a crazy week.  So sorry I couldn't write an email last Monday, we had no power and electricity and I had no service on my phone.  So it got down to 18 degrees down in Laredo, and I think it was the coldest it has ever been down there.  It was a struggle haha we didn't have power for a couple days so our apartment was freezing.  Thankfully we have some awesome members in our ward that made sure we had food and warm blankets, and they gave us some candles.  We were able to get power again and everything seems to be back to normal now.   So I ended ...

  Aug 29 email  What's up everyone!  Sorry it has been a minute since I've sent an email.  Things have been crazy!  Sadly, I left Brownsville after an absolute amazing transfer.  Super grateful for the amazing members and friends I met there and for the lessons learned.  My last week there, our friend Jorge chose to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized    I'm now in Mission, Texas and my new companions are Elders Wood and Iverson!  We've been super busy and have been enjoying the work so much.  Excited for the miracles we will see from the lord. I've been studying a lot of the Character of Christ.  Everything that Jesus Christ did was centered on reaching out in love, service and compassion to others.  1 of many things that I've learned on my mission, is that not everything is about me.
