Really cool story from Christmas day - The BEST gift I've heard of this Christmas - We were supposed to talk to Mel yesterday around 9am. He messaged us that 11 am would be better. 11 am came and went. 11:30. 11:45. We were getting anxious and wondering why he couldn't call yet. Family and friends came over to see and speak with him. We felt bad that they had to sit around and wait. We were growing a bit impatient. Finally close to noon he Facetime'd us. When he explained why he couldn't call, my heart filled with gratitude and a sense of immense pride for why he hadn't called yet. He and a group of other missionaries, working in conjunction with the Catholic Charities in his area, spent all morning making and serving sandwiches to countless migrants who had recently come across the border and were very hungry. What an amazing thing to do on a Christmas day. He didn't care about what gifts were waiting for him under a tree. He and the other missionaries spent...
