April 18 email Hey everybody!  It's been an eventful week!  Transfers were last week and I left the amazing place of La Joya that truly became my home for the past 4 months.  I will cherish the amazing friendships and experiences I had during my time there.  I have left the Valley down south and moved up north to Corpus Christi right on the beach   my new companion is Elder Kartchner from Sacramento California!  We work great together and he has great love and determination to serve the lord which is greatly needed.  We will be seeing many miracles occur this transfer.   I hope everyone had time this past week to reflect and ponder on the atonement of Jesus Christ and what his sacrifice and Resurrection means to you.  It is something that we should always be celebrating and pondering about everyday:)  I have a firm testimony that has been built on Christ and his atonement and I know that because of what he has done we may receive hi...

  March 14th email What is up everyone!  Been another great week in La Joya:)  Right now we are putting a lot of focus working with the members regarding the 'Love, Share and Invite' Initiative that the church has come up with to help facilitate God's work of Salvation and Exaltation.  The purpose is to help all members of Christ's church to share the gospel in simple and natural ways.  Member work and missionary work is to always be 'one work' to help others come unto Jesus Christ.  The members of the La Joya branch are amazing and through our efforts we have been able to gain strong relationships with them and have found friends to teach the gospel through them!   Someone we are teaching right now is Fabiana!  Her husband is a member and she has loved meeting us and would love to go to the temple someday!  We are working with her and doing all we can to help her feel the spirit and pray she will continue to progress in the gospel:) Gen...
