April 25, LOVING Corpus Christi!!!

 






April 25 email - 


😎 Sup everyone!  Great week out here in Corpus Christi.  We saw a lot of amazing blessings this week and are super excited to keep grinding and living it all up for the lord.  


We are teaching and helping some amazing children of God come unto Christ and and one of our friends, Irma will be getting baptized on May 7th!  Super excited and happy for her decision to follow the example of Christ in her life!  Some more of our friends, Fred and Becca are seeking right now for a church that suits them and is right for them.  Fred is committed to reading the Book of Mormon to gain a witness of its Truth and Divinity.  Please pray for these amazing people to progress!  The lord blesses his children when we are all anxiously engaged to serve and help our beloved brothers and sisters in any way to come unto Christ.😊

I also want to mention the sincerity of my gratitude for Jesus Christ.  He lives and he's my greatest friend.  The effects and strengthening power of his atonement are real in our lives.  It's helped me especially on my mission.  I'm grateful to serve him.  You all are amazing!  I pray everyone has a phenomenal week and to do as Christ does to "Go about doing good continually."  Pls reach out if you feel!  I would love to hear from anyone:)

  Feb 7th email -  Hello everyone!  Thought it'd be good to update you all again  We had transfers on Monday.  After 6 months together, one of my companions Elder Iverson has left the area. I'm gonna miss him! It was an amazing ride and I'll be grateful for his influence always.  I am still with Elder Havea and am on my 16th and final transfer.  Our friend Edgar was baptized a couple weeks ago!  We have been so blessed to see such great success in this area.  I love this area and the people so much.  I hope everyone back home is doing great!  I would love to hear from anyone!  Love you all

Keep scrolling...  Feb 22 email -  Hola todos!  Como están?  Tuve una semana tan loca con el frio en Texas!  Pero ahorita estoy muy bien echándole ganas jajaja.  Anyways if you don't know what's been going on, this past week about 1/3 of Texas lost water and power due to the weather I believe, I'm still not too sure what caused everything but man it was a crazy week.  So sorry I couldn't write an email last Monday, we had no power and electricity and I had no service on my phone.  So it got down to 18 degrees down in Laredo, and I think it was the coldest it has ever been down there.  It was a struggle haha we didn't have power for a couple days so our apartment was freezing.  Thankfully we have some awesome members in our ward that made sure we had food and warm blankets, and they gave us some candles.  We were able to get power again and everything seems to be back to normal now.   So I ended ...

  Aug 29 email  What's up everyone!  Sorry it has been a minute since I've sent an email.  Things have been crazy!  Sadly, I left Brownsville after an absolute amazing transfer.  Super grateful for the amazing members and friends I met there and for the lessons learned.  My last week there, our friend Jorge chose to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized    I'm now in Mission, Texas and my new companions are Elders Wood and Iverson!  We've been super busy and have been enjoying the work so much.  Excited for the miracles we will see from the lord. I've been studying a lot of the Character of Christ.  Everything that Jesus Christ did was centered on reaching out in love, service and compassion to others.  1 of many things that I've learned on my mission, is that not everything is about me.
