Good evening all:)  hope everyone had an amazing Christmas weekend🎄  Christmas was very special here in Texas for many reasons.  The greatest of all being the opportunity to remember, and reflect the importance and purpose of the life of Jesus Christ and to love and serve as he did, to share his eternal light.  I have felt such great joy from doing so, and hope you all did as well:)


A cool principle I learned this week is of the purpose of God and his son Jesus Christ.  God's purpose is truly our progression.  Though God is perfect, he too progresses as our progression improves and as we grow.  God loves us so much, and desires us to "hear" his son Jesus Christ and come unto him so we can progress each day and become like him.  A great way to improve is to set goals and make plans to achieve them, to stretch ourselves and allow ourselves to grow spirituality, emotionally and physically.  As the new year comes up remember to set goals and make plans to achieve them.  The savior invites us to strive to be better each day and as we do that, we will better understand his atonement and we WILL be strengthened by him so we can become who he knows we can become🤍

Hey everyone:) I hope everyone is doing great.  This week flew by and it was a good one!  Elder Clark and I have been working very hard and diligently trying to do all we can to find the elect, and have been able to teach some awesome people this week and we are so excited to be meeting with them this new week to help them come unto Jesus Christ.  They're names are:  Sylvester, Eleazar, Valeria, Jackie, and Juan.  Each of them felt the spirit very strongly and have desires to learn more and come to know who they are through the gospel.  I truly invite everyone to pray for these amazing children of God so they can gain the strength and faith to come into the fold of God.  
I love you all and wish everyone a great week!   The lord NEEDS valiant warriors who love him, especially in these latter days, to bring to pass the gathering of Israel wherever you may be!

  Feb 7th email -  Hello everyone!  Thought it'd be good to update you all again  We had transfers on Monday.  After 6 months together, one of my companions Elder Iverson has left the area. I'm gonna miss him! It was an amazing ride and I'll be grateful for his influence always.  I am still with Elder Havea and am on my 16th and final transfer.  Our friend Edgar was baptized a couple weeks ago!  We have been so blessed to see such great success in this area.  I love this area and the people so much.  I hope everyone back home is doing great!  I would love to hear from anyone!  Love you all

Keep scrolling...  Feb 22 email -  Hola todos!  Como están?  Tuve una semana tan loca con el frio en Texas!  Pero ahorita estoy muy bien echándole ganas jajaja.  Anyways if you don't know what's been going on, this past week about 1/3 of Texas lost water and power due to the weather I believe, I'm still not too sure what caused everything but man it was a crazy week.  So sorry I couldn't write an email last Monday, we had no power and electricity and I had no service on my phone.  So it got down to 18 degrees down in Laredo, and I think it was the coldest it has ever been down there.  It was a struggle haha we didn't have power for a couple days so our apartment was freezing.  Thankfully we have some awesome members in our ward that made sure we had food and warm blankets, and they gave us some candles.  We were able to get power again and everything seems to be back to normal now.   So I ended ...

  Aug 29 email  What's up everyone!  Sorry it has been a minute since I've sent an email.  Things have been crazy!  Sadly, I left Brownsville after an absolute amazing transfer.  Super grateful for the amazing members and friends I met there and for the lessons learned.  My last week there, our friend Jorge chose to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized    I'm now in Mission, Texas and my new companions are Elders Wood and Iverson!  We've been super busy and have been enjoying the work so much.  Excited for the miracles we will see from the lord. I've been studying a lot of the Character of Christ.  Everything that Jesus Christ did was centered on reaching out in love, service and compassion to others.  1 of many things that I've learned on my mission, is that not everything is about me.
