March 15 -

Hi everyone!  This week flew by crazy fast.  Went on a couple exchanges with some other missionaries and they were lit.  I porked a ton of food so I really gotta burn all the calories this new week.  Time to start running again jejeje.  We have 2 weeks left of this transfer which is kinda sad, I love my companion Elder Taylor, he'll be going home in a couple weeks and I'll miss him for sure.  We taught a lot of lessons this week and we are hoping and praying our investigators will progress and keep commitments🙏  There's one guy in particular we taught this week named Jay,  we taught him lesson 1 which is the message of the restoration of the gospel.  As we introduced Joseph Smith and recited the first vision with him, he was pretty amazed and felt the spirit, and knew in that moment what we were saying was true.  I love little tender mercies like this and feel so blessed to be able to feel the spirit confirming truth:)

We did an awesome service for a random lady that messaged us.  She was so grateful and happy we were able to help without charging her anything.  We chopped a bunch of Zacate which is jusy tall grass kinda and we were using Machetes and it was pretty lit hahah.  The lady was super nice and went and bought food for us.  I'm grateful for the power and love that comes from service.

That's all for this week!  Hope everyone stays safe always and has a great week!

Hello todos, it was a great week here in south Texas.  It's starting to get really hot now and I'm really not looking forward to the summer It's gonna kill me hehehe.  Started the week with some service at this older lady's home.  We raked up some leaves and put them all in trash bags and it was pretty Capo.  We found a lot of new people this week, but getting our investigators to progress has been a little bit of a struggle.   But we are hopeful and have a perfect knowledge that Gods timing is Perfect.

Something I have been super Grateful for recently is Personal scripture study.  I have seen and witnessed the blessings that come from sincere Personal Study.  Being able to study the Book of Mormon everyday helps me know what I want my focus to be for each day, and what I can do to help others come unto Christ.  I know God speaks to us as we prayerfully feast upon his words.  I have a firm testimony that as we prayerfully study the scriptures, we will feel the love that God had for us individually and receive revelation for whatever it is we need and what God wants us to hear.  A scripture I loved this week is in Alma 26: 27

"Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen."

Our Father in Heaven knows us all, and loves us all.  I invite everyone to partake of his goodness and love through sincere prayer and Scripture study!  Much love everyone:)

April 5 -

Hope everyone had the most fabulous Easter Weekend!  My week started with transfers and it was time to say goodbye to my comp Elder Taylor.  He was good young lad and I'll miss him for sure.  Having said that I'm on my 4th transfer and I'm still in Elsa Texas!  My new companion is Elder Whitman, he's been out on the mish 10 months and I'm excited to be working with him!

The highlight of this week was General Conference and Easter.  What a huge blessing we all have to be able to hear from God's living prophet hear on earth.  I have a strong and firm testimony that Russell M. Nelson is called directly from God and receives revelation directly from God.  I loved the talk he gave on faith!  We can always increase our faith in Jesus Christ everyday, and President Nelson has provided 5 steps to help us do just that:

1. Study the Doctrine of Jesus Christ.  We can do this by studying the scriptures and teachings of the prophets.

2. Choose to believe in Jesus Christ, and stay faithful.

3. Act in faith.

4. Partake of sacred ordinances worthily.

5.  Ask our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ for help and for truth.

I love this and testify that if we do these things, our faith in Christ and our testimonies of his restored gospel will be strengthen through his love.  I know this Church is the true Church of Christ.  I bear my testimony that he lives.  And I know because he lives, we can always come unto him, repent, forgive and receive eternal happiness through him.  I love you all and I'm grateful for everyone.  If anybody needs any help or has any questions about anything, feel free to email me!  And always turn to our Savior:)

April 5 -

Hey everybody, I hope everyone had a great week!  Hopefully the weather has been good back in Utah.  This past weeks weather in Texas was rough.  Biking in 100° weather in pants isn't ideal, but doing it while serving the lord makes it absolutely worth it.  The work has been a little harder finding the Elect.  A couple days ago we met an amazing and humble man named Javier.  He introduced himself and mentioned that he had talked to missionaries in the past.  He said that he never had the chance to go to church with them but was really wanting to.  We ended up talking to him for a long time and sat down with him and read some scriptures.  He is a very kindhearted man, and I know that the spirit can touch his heart as we continue to meet with him and teach him.  I'm super grateful that God's wisdom and timing is perfect.  Something that I've pondered so much on recently, is the divine love that God had for all of us.  His love is infinite.  His love is Perfect.  I've come to feel is infinite love that he has for me personally and all his children.  Jesus Christ is his son and his arms are always extended to ALL to come unto him and partake of his love through faith and repentance.  I'm grateful to be a part of his work.  He lives.  He loves us.  Much love to all!
